TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic on The Silverlink North from the roundabout with New York Road to a point approx. 175m south of this. 

An alternate route is available via New York Road, New York Way, Silver Fox Way, The Silverlink North. 

The temporary Order is required for the construction of a new roundabout and surfacing activities and will come into force on 25 February 2025 lasting until 12 April 2025. Working hours will be from 20:00 until 06:00.
