TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Church Roads level crossing. 

An alternate route is available via Church Road, Earsdon To Backworth Link Road, Front Street, Earsdon Road, Rotary Road, Station Road.

The proposed temporary Order is required for level crossing tests and will come into force on 29 March 2025 until 30 March 2025.  Working hours will be from 22:00 - 06:00.
