Temporary Restriction of Traffic Order 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.  The effect of the order will be to prohibit all through traffic along a section of the Public Footpath situated between the B1317 / Moorfield Drive, Killingworth

and Benton Square Industrial Estate, Benton at points (A to B to C to D) – the diversion will run at points (A to A1 to D) as and when signage dictates.  The remainder of the path is unaffected by the order.

The Order is required on a temporary basis to support a safe environment across a housing development and will come into force on 25 March 2025 for a period not exceeding 6 months.
