NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 21 April 2025.

Under the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, the North Tyneside Council hereby order that between the hours of 5am – 7pm on Saturday 5 July 2025 the following regulations will be observed to prevent obstruction of the streets during the time of a public event: -

The following closures will take place along to following roads:

High Street East between Park Road and Station Road.
Atkinson Street at its junction to Frank Street and High Street West.

Friday 4 July 2025 from 5pm through to 9pm on Saturday 5 July 2025 the Coronation Street Car Park will be closed.

The closure is necessary to facilitate and reduce disruption likely to be caused by the Wallsend Festival

There is no alternative route for this rolling closure.

The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine
