TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 6 May 2025.

Under the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, North Tyneside Council hereby order that between the hours of 06:00 – 19:00 hours on Sunday 6 July 2025 the following regulations will be observed to prevent obstruction of the streets during the time of RNLI Motorcycle Rally fun day taking place at North Shields Fish Quay Clifford Fort and Low Lights car park.

The following closures will be in place:

Clifford Fort Moat at the junction of Tanners Bank.

Clifford Fort Street at the junction of Clifford Fort.

Low Lights Car Park.

There is no alternative route for this closure.

The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine.
