PUBLIC FOOTPATHS KILLINGWORTH 5 AND HOLYSTONE 1 AND 2
NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2025
On 14 May 2025 North Tyneside Council made the above-named order under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order if confirmed will be to extinguish the public rights of way as identified in the order as they are no longer required for public use but anyone with any concerns about the extinguishment is invited to contact Graeme Clark. A copy of the order and order map may be inspected free of charge at the address below 9.00 – 16:00 Monday – Friday – It can also be viewed on the Council website https://my.northtyneside.gov.uk/
Objections to the order or any other representations should be sent in writing to Graeme Clark, Definitive Map Officer, Block A, The Killingworth Site, Harvey Combe, Killingworth, NE12 6QQ or email graeme.clark@northtyneside.gov.uk no later than the 28 days after 14 May 2025, and should state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that any such correspondence cannot be treated as confidential and may be inspected by any interested party.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the order as unopposed. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections, which have not been withdrawn, will be sent with it.
