TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic ON Victoria Crescent North from outside number 15 Victoria Crescent North to the junction with Norma Crescent. 

An alternate route is available via Victoria Crescent, John Street, Margaret Road, Naters Street, Promontory Terrace.

The temporary Order is required for upgrades to road surface including resurfacing and will come into force on 30 June 2025 for a period not exceeding 8 days. This has been extended until 27 July 2025 due to unforeseen delays on site.
