NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Tyneside Council will make the following Order on 30 July 2025.

Under the provisions of section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847, North Tyneside Council hereby order that during the times stated below the following regulations will be observed to prevent obstruction of the following street during the holding of a Play Street.

The temporary closure will take place on Shaftesbury Avenue, Whitley Bay, with the closure beginning and ending at the two entrances to of the street, on 7 September 2025 from 12:00 noon to 18:00.

During the closure, traffic should use the adjacent local road network.

Pedestrian access will remain.  The penalty for infringement of the above regulation is a fine.  Further information may be obtained from csalkeld@hotmail.co.uk
