(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) (Consolidation) Order 2025 and

(On Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2025

Variation Order 2025

 

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it proposes to make a variation order under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, if made, will be to vary the following orders as detailed below:

 

the North Tyneside (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) (Consolidation) Order 2025, so that:

 

The following Waiting Restrictions at any time on any day be introduced on sections of the following roads:

 

a) Callerton Ave, North Shields

North side, from its junction with Norham Road, to a point 18 metres east of that junction
South side, from its junction with Norham Road, to a point 66 metres east of that junction

 

b) Rockcliffe Street, Whitley Bay. Both sides, from its junction with Cheviot View, to a point 5 metres south east of that junction.

 

c) Cheviot View, Whitley Bay. East side, from a point 5 metres south of its junction with Rockcliffe Street, to a point 5 metres north of that junction.

 

d) Denewood, Killingworth. Both sides, from its junction with West Lane to a point 12 metres east of that junction.

 

e) West Lane, Killingworth. East side, from a point 17 metres south of its junction with Denewood, to a point 17 metres north of that junction.

 

f) Ridley Ave, Wallsend. North side, from its junction with Crummock Court a point 32 metres east of that junction.

 

g) Crummock Court, Wallsend

East and north sides, from its junction with Windsor Drive in a northerly then westerly direction for a distance of 57 metres.
West side, from its junction with Windsor Drive to a point 32 metres north west of that junction.

 

h) Bromley Ave, Monkseaton. East side, from a point 7 metres south of its junction with Springfield Grove, to a point 10 metres north of that junction.

 

Springfield Grove, Monkseaton 

Both sides, from its junction with Bromley Avenue to a point 5 metres east of that junction.
Both sides, from its junction with Appletree Gardens, to a point 8 metres north west of that junction.
North side, from a point 9 metres west of its junction with Closefield Grove to point 17 metres east of that junction.

 

j) Appletree Gardens, Monkseaton. West side, from a point 6 metres south of its junction with Springfield Grove, to a point 6 metres north of that junction.

 

k) Closefield Grove, Monkseaton. Both sides- from its junction with Springfield Grove to a point 11 metres north of that junction.

 

l) Rosewood Close, North Shields

Both sides, from its junction with un-named road connecting Rake Lane to Rosewood Close, to a point 74 metres north east of that junction.
South west side, from a point opposite the boundary wall of numbers 23/24 Rosewood Close in a south easterly direction to a point opposite the boundary wall of numbers 25/26 Rosewood Close.

 

m) Alnwick Avenue, North Shields

South side, from a point metres 9 west of its junction with Beadnell Avenue to a point 9 metres east of that junction.
South side, from a point 9 metres west of its junction with Etal Avenue to a point 9 metres east of that junction.
South side, from a point 9 metres west of its junction with Ford Avenue to a point 9 metres east of that junction.
South side, from a point 9 metres west of its junction with Alnmouth Avenue to a point 9 metres east of that junction.

 

n) Beadnell Avenue, North Shields. Both sides, from its junction with Alnwick Avenue to a point 9 metres south east of that junction.

 

o) Etal Avenue, North Shields. Both sides, from its junction with Alnwick Avenue to a point 9 metres south east of that junction.

 

p) Ford Avenue, North Shields. Both sides, from its junction with Alnwick Avenue to a point 9 metres south east of that junction.

 

q) Alnmouth Avenue, North Shields. Both sides, from its junction with Alnwick Avenue to a point 9 metres south east of that junction.

 

 The following Waiting Restrictions - No Waiting Monday to Friday 8am-9:30am and 2:30-4pm be introduced on sections of the following roads:

 

Springfield Grove, Monkseaton. South side, from a point 5 metres east of its junction with Bromley Avenue to a point 8 metres west of its junction with Appletree Gardens.  

 

The following Stopping Restrictions - No Stopping between 8.15 – 9.15am and 3-4pm, Monday to Friday be introduced on sections of the following roads:

 

Alnwick Avenue, North Shields. North side, from a point 119 metres east of its junction with Norham Road to its junction with Biddlestone Crescent.

 

Biddlestone Crescent, North Shields. West side, from its junction with Alnwick Avenue in a northerly direction for a distance of 187 metres.

 

The following Loading Restrictions - No Loading/Unloading at any time on any day be introduced on sections of the following roads:

 

Ridley Ave, Wallsend. North side, from its junction with Crummock Court to a point 32 metres east of that junction.

 

Crummock Court, Wallsend.

East and north sides, from its junction with Windsor Drive in a northerly then westerly direction for a distance of 57 metres.
West side, from its junction with Windsor Drive to a point 32 metres north west of that junction.

 

The following Loading Restrictions - No Loading/Unloading, Monday to Friday 8am-9:30am and 2:30-4pm be introduced on sections of the following roads:

Springfield Grove, Monkseaton. South side, from its junction with Bromley Avenue to its junction with Appletree Gardens.  

 

Bromley Ave, Monkseaton. East side, from its junction with Springfield Grove to a point 7 metres south of that junction.

 

Appletree Gardens, Monkseaton. West side, from its junction with Springfield Grove, to a point 6 metres south of that junction

 

No waiting restrictions between Monday to Friday 8am-6pm on the following lengths of road be revoked:

 

Access road to car park off Windsor Drive, Wallsend 

North-east side, between a point 60 metres north-west of its junction with Windsor Drive and that junction.
South-west side, between a point 43 metres north-west of its junction with Windsor Drive and that junction.

 

No stopping restrictions between 8.15 – 9.15am and 3-4pm, Monday to Friday on the following lengths of road be revoked:

 

Alnwick Avenue, North Shields. North side, from a point 7 metres east of its junction with Beadnell Avenue to a point 363 metres east of that junction.

 

 

Amendments to the Council of the Borough of North Tyneside (On Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2025: 

 

Permit Holder Parking Places – Zonal Schemes, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, all hours be introduced on the following:

 

Beverley Gardens, Cullercoats– from a point 125 metres west then 47 metres north of its junction with Grand Parade in a northerly direction for a distance of 163 metres. (Zone CC2).

 

Parking Places with a Parking Charge - Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday only 9am to 6pm, be amended so that they apply to the following extents:

 

Percy Park Road, Tynemouth – west side, from a point 31 metres north of its junction with Seafield View to a point 208 metres north of that junction. (Zone TM2).

 

Parking Places with a Parking Charge - Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday only 9am to 6pm, be added so that they apply to the following extents:

 

Percy Park Road, Tynemouth – west side, from a point 5 metres north of its junction with Seafield View to a point 12 metres north of that junction. (Zone TM2)

 

Streets for the purpose of the issue of Permits and Vouchers to be added as follows:
