TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days

from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 16(A)&(B) of

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will prohibit all

vehicles (except emergency vehicles) using:

a) Northumberland Place/Northumberland Square from its junction with

Church Way to its junction with Upper Norfolk Street commencing on

Wednesday 3 December 2025 at 6am until Monday 8 December 2025

at 5pm.

b) Howard Street at its junction with Upper Norfolk Street and Saville Street

from Wednesday 3 December to Monday 8 December 2025.

c) Northumberland Square, Upper Camden Street will be closed to

vehicles on Wednesday 3 and Monday 8 December 2025.

Alternative route is via Church Way, Albion Road, Upper Norfolk Street,

Norfolk Street and vice versa.
