TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Park Avenue from the junction with Whitley Road to the junction with York Road. 

An alternate route is available via Whitley Road, North Parade, York Road.

The temporary Order is required for upgrades to traffic signal crossing points and will come into force on 22 September 2025 lasting until 18 November 2025.
