Brownfield Land Register

Consultation details

The Council invited landowners and stakeholders, and any interested party to submit land for inclusion on the Council’s Brownfield Land Register. The Register will provide details of previously developed sites that are available and potentially suitable for residential development.
Part One of the Brownfield Land Register has now been published on the Council’s website (see below). Whilst no new sites were added to the register following consultation, useful information was recorded outlining the intentions of some land owners. There will be further public consultation on part two of the register as all land included in part two will receive permission in principal for residential development.
The Council’s Statement of Community Involvement outlines the engagement process for the production of policy documents (see below). The authority would like to thank everyone who shared their views as part of this engagement exercise.
