Residential units

Riverdale is an assessment and short-term unit for 5 children and young people (male or female) aged 10-17. We also have an emergency bed offering a 72 hour placement.

We aim to provide a safe and homely living environment to young people with emotional or behavioural issues.

We provide placements for children who may have a combination of emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.  We can accommodate up to six (male and female) children between the ages 10 and 17 years.

We provide accommodation to young people who remain in care from school-leaving age up to 21 years.

We offer help with:

• training and employment support
• skills development
• living independently
